Ways to Pay Your Rent

There are a number of ways you can pay your rent and service charges:

Pay By Direct Debit Or Standing Order

You can pay your rent/service charge straight to us through your Bank or Building Society account by Direct Debit or by Standing Order. Payments can be made weekly or on the 15th or 22nd of every month.

Pay At The Post Office/Or At PayPoint

You can pay your rent/service charge by cash or cheque at any Post Office, or at a PayPoint or PayZone outlet using a payment card.

         

You can order the Housing Payment Swipe Card via a service administered for us by Tameside Council.  You can also pay into your account via a temporary barcode which can be requested at the Aksa office.

Pay by Phone (24 hours, 7 days a week)

Call 0161 331 2224 and have your debit or credit card and payment reference number  to hand. You will be guided through the process of making a payment. We can take payments from the following cards:

Mastercard
Visa
Maestro
Amex
Visa Electron

Payment App

Aksa Homes customers can now pay rent straight from their mobile phones following the launch of a new payment app. The app is free to download from the Apple App Store, Google Play and on Windows phones using the links below. 

Step 1 – Download the app. There are a number of ways in which you can do this:

Step 2 – Follow the instructions to set up your account

You will need…

Your Aksa Homes plastic payment card (if you can't find your card call us on 0161 331 2050 and we can help).  You will be asked for the long number across the middle of the card where it says ‘ Payment reference number’.

You will also need the bank card that you want to make payments from.

You will need to input a PIN number and a password so only you can access the app.

The payment should be in your account the next working day after you have made the payment via the app.  

Pay Online

You can pay online through the BillPay service which is provided by Santander.  This allows payment by debit and credit cards and is a free service.  If you are using BillPay for the first time, you will have to register your details and you will require payment reference numbers for the bills you are going to pay.

Pay By Post
